Welcome back to the 2013 academic school year at Marcellin. We hope all students, staff and families have had an enjoyable time over the holiday period and a most positive commencement to the new year.

Commencement dates

Thursday 31st January - Year 7, 12 and new students to the College commence. These students need to be prepared for orientation sessions and Year 12 students need to be prepared for some formal classes for a Day 7.

  • Year 7's are reminded to bring their runners for this day. Year 7 parents are asked to remain with their sons in the quadrangle upon arrival and then when directed, escort them down to St. Marcellin's Hall for the Principal's address. Parents are then invited to move over to our Functions Room, with Principal, Mark Murphy, to attend a brief welcome by the MCCA (Marcellin College Community Association).

Friday 1st February - All year levels commence. All students need to be prepared for House orientation sessions and formal classes for a Day 8.

Bell Times

As reported towards the end of 2012 bell times have changed for 2013.

Morning Pastoral commences at 8:40am (warning bell at 8:35am) and the day concludes at 3:20pm. The College has made appropriate bus arrangements for the conclusion of each day.

We look forward to everyone's return next week and also to welcoming a new cohort of students to our College community.
